Funny Animal Pictures!

Hey everybody! I've been noticing that there are a ton of funny animal pictures on the internet, and I am going to try and post at least one every week! The first picture is of a couple of  hamsters. "Will you marry me?"

The second picture is of a dog drinking soda. "Look out, I'm gonna burp!!!"

The Basket Brigade

This weekend for Thanksgiving, I went to an organization called the "Basket Brigade"in Yonkers, New York. Every Year a bunch of people get together and help organize baskets and bags for people in need for Thanksgiving. The Basket Brigade is always held at one my dad's friend's house. The baskets are placed in lines along Ross's driveway (Ross is my dad's friend), and then people fill them with candy, desserts, fruit, stuffing, potatoes, pie, etc. This year a ton of people came, and even though it was so cold, everybody helped out. To fill the baskets, I had helped bag potatoes, bring out apples, tape recipes to brownie mixes, and put an Uno card deck in every basket. My friend Gabrielle and her brother Charlie helped me with these tasks. After the baskets were filled with food and goods, people wrapped the baskets with foil and tied them with ribbons. After I had finished helping out, I had a snack, and then jumped on Ross's trampoline with Gabrielle and Charlie. Later, Ross gave a speech, and after that, everyone went home. But, before going home, some people including me and my dad stayed, and drove baskets, bags, and turkeys to houses where families needed food for Thanksgiving, but didn't have enough money to buy them, so we delivered three baskets, three bags, and three turkeys to their homes. To me, the whole thing was very moving, so if you can, try and help out for thanksgiving this year!!! Bye!
